An exciting thing we did before Kyle left was put bring home and put together our first crib!! I bought it online from Babies R Us for about 75% off the original price. Ohhh yeah! It's a strong, sturdy crib that can convert to a toddler bed, and then later can convert into a twin size bed! I haven't bought them yet, but I will need to buy the conversion set. The color is a dark cherry, which shouldn't be hard to find a matching suit whenever the time comes when we want to expand it out and make it into a bedroom suit instead of just a crib. We are still waiting for our other bedroom suit to come in. Hopefully just 2-3 more weeks left! Then, we will finally be able to put the nursery all together and I can start nesting and organizing. :)
Symptoms:
- Hip pain. I have woken up from hip pain several times this week. It's becoming really annoying. I also have to be careful, when it's sore at the time, how I move. I tried to sit back in my car after one of my jobs and sharp pain shot through my hips and legs. Oy, it was painful! I certainly don't enjoy this symptom.
- Eye sensitivity - they are still really sensitive to heat primarily, and light.
- Movement Restrictions - I am noticing that when I bend over, I can get a sharp pain or some kind of cramping. Clearly I'm not taking too well to this limited movement deal by vacuuming the stairs and cleaning out bathtubs...where I obviously have to bend over. Slowly I am trying to come to terms with my situation and just learn to lean on Kyle a little more.
- Heartburn. I've had it a few more times this week. Primarily when Kyle drives. Maybe his driving upsets my stomach? Hehe! Who knows.
- I've gained a total of 19 lbs. I even ate less than the week before! That's 2.2 lbs more than the previous week. At the rate I'm going, by the time I reach 36 weeks, I'll have gained close to 45 lbs! I know I'm having twins... but one of the many doctors I've seen said I want to only gain about 25-30 lbs.
- Muscle Spasms/Charlie Horses in my legs and feet. I woke up sore this week from this and it hurts an incredible amount. Apparently this is normal but I have never heard of this symptom before during pregnancy. I need to eat more potassium and drink more water!
I am still wishing these days will go by quickly so I can see my wonderful husband again. We miss him terribly!
